For a calming and nature-filled holiday, join us at Taita Saltlick natural sanctuary, isolated from industrial haste. Its famous Taita Olive Thrush and the Taita White-eye summon visitors from worldwide. Ngulia safari will unlock its thrilling rhino sanctuary and you might get a good view of the rarest great black rhinos.
Lake Jipe is a small, shallow lake (area 28 sq. km and average depth less than 3 m), lying astride the Kenya-Tanzania border, just to the east of the northern Pare Mountains of Tanzania (Mwanga district, in the Kilimanjaro region). It is 12 km long and 2.5 km wide, 12 square km belong to Tanzania and 14 square km to Kenya. Tsavo West National Park of Kenya borders the southern portion of the lake while Mt Kilimanjaro dominates the horizon some distance to the northwest.
Voyager Ziwani is located on the banks of the Sante River and offers panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Its fully furnished tents include a spacious patio. Guided game walks and night drives are offered. The tents at Voyager come with wooden floors and a 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. Each has a modern, private bathroom with a shower and a flush toilet. Home-cooked meals, including a large selection of vegetarian dishes, are served at the camp’s restaurant. Bush breakfasts and barbecue dinners are also organized. Drinks are available at the bar, which offers views of the dam.
During the day, guests can visit the tombs of Grogan’s Castle or take a ranch tour of Gicheha Farm. In the evening, Maasaj dancers provide entertainment at Vogager Ziwani Tented Camp. Younger guests can join the Adventurers’ and Young Rangers’ Clubs.

Pick up is early morning from your beach hotel. Drive along Mombasa- Nairobi highway to Ngutuni Wildlife sanctuary. Game viewing till lunch time. Check in at Ngutuni lodge. After lunch relax by the pool or animal view point. At 3.30pm coffee and go for evening game drive until 6.00pm. Dinner and overnight at the Ngutuni Lodge.
Early morning game viewing before breakfast. After breakfast check out of the lodge and do your last game as you head to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary for lunch. After lunch proceed to Saltlick Lodge for check-in. Evening game drive until 6.00pm. Dinner and overnight at Saltlick Lodge.
Have early breakfast and do game enroute as you head to lake Jipe. Arrive at the view point for hippos, birds, elephants, buffallos and several animals can be seen.You can also do the boat ride at the lake, After the visit to lake Jipe drive to Ziwani Camp for Lunch. After lunch relax until 3.30pm coffee and go for a game walk with the escort of rangers.7.00pm night game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ziwani Camp.
