This type of Safari combines two parks. You first visit Tsavo East National Park and then Visit the Saltlick Sanctuary which is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park. The animals you are likely to see in the sanctuary is the cape buffalo, cheetah, lions, zebra and water bucks.
The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilometers long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

Pick you from your Hotel very early in the morning and drive through the Mombasa – Nairobi highway to buchuma gate. Mid-morning game drive until 1230 when you exit the park and take Taita taveta road drive to Taita Hills Game Lodge a sister hotel to Saltlick game lodge for your lunch. After lunch check in Saltlick Lodge relax. 3.30 pm coffee and afternoon game viewing till 6. 00pm.Back to the Lodge a for dinner and overnight.
The tour starts with an early morning game drive before breakfast until 8.30 am. After breakfast check out of your Lodge and go for your last game viewing and exit the sanctuary and drive back to your beach hotels. You are expected to be in your hotel for lunch.
